Msgr. Finucan and Fr. James Barney will be taking census between now and September. You can expect to see them walking through your neighborhood.

Aug. 11, 1968

Agnes Wachowiak, long-time housekeeper for the parish dies. She was more than a housekeeper she was a mother to the priests of our parish.

Sept. 8, 1968

Bob Gregorich, grand knight of the local Knight of Columbus Council #1170, reported that The Knight of Columbus are rapidly losing ground in regards to membership. In 1958, a short 10 years ago, the average age of our membership on a national level was 36. In 1968, the average age is 48. We are rapidly becoming an order of old men.

Clara Charneski becomes the new rectory housekeeper.

Oct. 19-21, 1968

40 Hours Devotion to be held. Saturday is designated for men and boys, Sunday for ladies and girls, and Monday is general.

Dec. 16, 1968

Nativity Scene play presented by the entire Cub Scouts pack, Girl Scouts and Brownies in Ehr Hall.
