Volunteer Chaplain with the Stevens Point Police Department. In a role of service to the community, I assist the police department in their work of law enforcement. This program was approved and welcomed by the Fire and Police Commission on December 10, 2002.

1999-date:

 

Dressed to Work Association, Trustee. Instrumental in assisting the development of this program to serve the needs of low-income people seeking employment or promotion by providing appropriate clothing for interview and work situation. Past President of DTW Board, presently serving on the Board of Trustees.

1996-date:

Available as an on-call Chaplain when scheduled at St. Michael Hospital, Stevens Point, WI. Opportunity to provide spiritual care or sacraments as requested.

1996-date:

St. Joseph Church, Stevens Point, WI. Pastor. Responsible for overseeing all aspects of the parish community and represent St. Joseph on the Area Commission of the Stevens Point Area Catholic School System.

1990-1996:

Holy Guardian Angels Church - Brackett, St. Anthony de Padua Church - Augusta, St. John the Apostle Church - Fall Creek Pastor of three rural communities. Responsible for overseeing all aspects of these three parish communities.

1987-1996:

Regis High School, Eau Claire, WI. In 1987, I began a full-time position as instructor/Campus Minister. Part-time duties: Director of Recruitment, Chair of team to coordinate drug/alcohol policy. In 1990, when I assumed responsibility for three parish communities, I began a part-time position as instructor/Campus Minister. I taught three courses in the religion department and coordinated all spiritual services for the student body.

Summers
1993, 1994:

Chaplain aboard the Cunard Countess. Responsibilities included a daily morning mass. I was available for the needs of passengers such as reconciliation and/or a wedding anniversary blessing.

1994-date:

Consultant for the Office of Ministries to Persons With Special Needs.

1989-1990:

St. James the Greater Church, Eau Claire WI. Associate Pastor. Part-time pastoral responsibilities that included weekend liturgies and duties as assigned by the pastor. (Full-time instructor/Campus Minister, Regis High School)

1988-1994:

Office of Ministry With Deaf and Hearing Impaired, Eau Claire, WI. Responsibilities include coordinating a liturgy schedule, developing a program for religious education of children, and compiling a list of available resources to hearing impaired people.

1987-1989:

Newman Community, Eau Claire, WI. Associate Pastor. Part-time pastoral responsibilities which included weekend liturgies and sacramental preparations.

1986-1987:

St. Patrick Church, Mauston, WI. Associate Pastor. Full-time pastoral responsibilities including work with grade school students, pastoral care, coordinator of CCD programs and sacramental preparations. In connection with the wider community, I served as Treasurer of the MACC childcare center.

Additional Information:

My interests and hobbies, in order of preference, are travel, dance, music (play several instruments), languages, yard work, and bowling. I belong to the Knights of Columbus, Fourth Degree. I have enjoyed the opportunities as a speaker for CCD programs and/or retreats.
