Parish Picnic

The first parish picnic on the church grounds was a one-day affair. Set up was on Saturday and a couple of men, along with some teen-age boys, spent the night on the grounds to prevent anyone from messing with the set up.
Most of the games and activities were homemade with a lot of imagination and hard work. A big flat bed trailer was set up and the entertainment was provided by parishioners, their friends and kids from the school music program.
